Ridgewood at home photo session | Ridgewood family photographer

I’ve worked with this family a few times already and I loved every session we did together but I think this is my favorite family photoshoot we’ve done to date!

If you every booked a session with me you know that I love doing family sessions at clients’ homes and that’s because this is where people feel most at-home:)  And time permitting I always recommend to add another location to it – and in case of this Ridgewood family photo session I recommended that we spend part of their photoshoot in downtown Ridgewood.  We live in such a pretty little town and I always love to photograph family sessions there!   These guys took me up on this offer and that’s exactly what we did – we spent a good portion of their family photoshoot at their Ridgewood home and another part – downtown.

Before the photoshoot I talked to the Mom to find out what types of things they did as family and we incorporated a few of these in this photoshoot. I loved photographing these guys just doing what they love to be doing – reading, jumping, playing board games, snuggling with their adorable puppy and just hanging out together.

I am quite happy with the results and so is the family – the very next day after their ordering session I received a very thoughtful email thanking me for the images and telling me how much they all loved them.  And this line made me happy for the rest of the day ‘You always capture us in our best light and we always have a blast doing it! ” I think there is no higher praise than that to a family photographer!
