Candid and Natural family pictures in downtown Ridgewood

One Saturday morning bright and early I met these guys for a family session in downtown Ridgewood.  During a pre-session consultation I asked Mom what images she wanted me to capture and without any hesitation she said ‘candid and natural’.  I was so excited about that because ever since attending PinkleToes photography workshop in January I’ve been leaning more and more towards combining fine art and lifestyle photography and knew that this style would fit them perfectly.

Out of all my family sessions I think this one was the most relaxed one!   I barely had to resort to any of my ‘hidden weapons’ to make the kids laugh:)   They were simply being themselves and I loved capturing natural and tender moments between them.  And Mom and Dad were so easy going and just went with the flow, which resulted in very natural images that I absolutely love.

My clients know that I offer only highest quality boutique products such as albums, storyboards, metal prints, etc.  But gallery wrapped canvases have always been and remained my first and long lasting love.  I think they showcase images beautifully and have several canvas displays in my own home.  I would gladly have even more, only I ran out of wall space:)   So I am thrilled when my clients order a wall display of canvases because I know they will love them as much as I do.   I was so happy when this family ordered a large display of 7 canvases that they will be hanging in their living room.  I cannot wait to show them the finished product!
