Bergen County Family Photo session in the heart of downtown Ridgewood

These guys have been coming to me for their family photos for over a decade – A DECADE – how crazy is that?!! I first met them when the Mom reached out to me to do a maternity photoshoot when she was pregnant with M. who is going in 7th grade now! It truly is a pleasure watching them grow – I look at them as family friends rather than clients . We catch up every time I see them and Mom sends me updates in between sessions so I really feel I know these kids so well. I literally watched them grow from newborns to toddlers to little girls to big girls who have their own very unique sense of style (little sister M chose her own outfits for the photoshoot complete with sparkly crocks, wool hiking boots and a super chunky sand necklace!). I love that I get to capture exactly who they are – sparkly crocks and all:)

We’ve done their photo shoot in Ridgewood years ago and thought it would be a good location for their session this year – and it was. We had a blast – jumping off things, marching on a rainbow crosswalk, being a little silly and a little dramatic – and that’s a great session in my book!
