Weekend Getaway to Our Favorite Place | New Jersey Photographer

If you spent any time with me or followed my work for a while you know that I (and my family) LOVE to travel. And yet, every summer for the last FOURTEEN YEARS we’ve been back at Ocean City, New Jersey. It is not far away (unless you are driving down there on a Friday before Labor Day!) or exotic but it is definitely our happy place.

The beach down there is beautiful but Ocean City is so much more – it’s surrey and bike rides on the boardwalk, raising of the flag every morning at Music Peer, loud amusement park with crazy rides, soft serve and delicious pizza (Manco Manco has our vote!), super yummy sandwiches (and pretty much everything they sell) at Bennies, fudge and caramel popcorn, sunrise and sunset walks, day trips to Cape May and Wetlands – you can do it all!

This year, due to my kids super busy schedules we were able to go only for 3 nights but we saw, did and most importantly ATE #allthethings!
