Bergen county family photo session in time of COVID

If this is not a perfect summer family photo session I don’t know what is!  Looking at these guys you would not know that it was 95 degrees the day we did their family photoshoot, would you?  They absolutely rocked it: from the outfits that this Mom put together, to being up for anything I  threw at them (sitting in the grass – sure! walking through a field of weeds? no problem!

We chose James McFaul Wildlife center as a location for this family photo session – because of COVID, this was my first time having a photoshoot there this year and I have to say I  kind of missed it – it was great to be back there.

I had to adjust my shooting style a bit because of COVID (I keep a safe distance from all families I  photograph so can’t do very closeup portraits or any personal ‘adjustments’ during photoshoots ) but I  don’t think that affected the feel of the session though.  I  think these images show how happy and loving these guys are and how much they enjoy spending time together.  And that always makes for great family photos!
