Raising $$$$ while having a blast | Ridgewood Jamboree

Every year for the last 79 years Ridgewood parents put together a variety show called Jamboree – with the objective of raising money for need-based scholarships for graduating Ridgewood High School seniors. I’ve heard about for years (living in Ridgewood, it’s impossible not to) and last year I decided to take a plunge and do it. Well, I had so much fun doing it last year that I did it again this year!

Last 5 weeks have been pretty intense – after all, teaching over 100 people to sign and dance and act and putting on a big production in just over a month is not easy. But I am absolutely amazed at what we were able to accomplish – the reviews of the show were glowing!
