Downtown Brooklyn family photo session

I’ve been a Ridgewood family photographer for over 6 years and I am known all over Bergen County for my lifestyle family images.  I rarely go to Manhattan or Brooklyn for family sessions but when this Mom called me about scheduling a family session in Downtown Brooklyn I happily agreed to do it.  First of all, this family moved to Brooklyn from London recently and they were referred to me by a great London family photographer – Antonina Mamzenko (if any of you guys in London you gotta look her up!) .  And secondly – I was very excited to do a family photo shoot in downtown Brooklyn – after all – what can be better than having an urban photo session with the most spectacular (at least in my opinion!) backdrop of NYC skyline?!

This session was so fun!   The kids had leaf fights and ticket fights, checked out pumpkins, played soccer and went down slides, and even got some snuggles – all before 11 AM!:)  In her pre-session questionnaire this Mom said that she wanted me to capture them living in their new neighborhood – with its tree lined streets and brownstones and views of the city.   And I think it is safe to say that this goal has been accomplished:)
