Old and New | At home bergen county photo session with old time clients

I’ve been photographing this Bergen County family since before big sister M. was born (her Mom maternity session was how we met) and am lucky to see them grow from a family of two to a family of three to a family of four!  We do a photo session a couple of times a year and every time I see them I am amazed at how much the kids grew and changed!   I still remember big sister’s M. newborn session (we all had to work very hard to get her to sleep!) and now she is in first grade, is a ‘star reader’, she invites me to have dinners with them and during our viewing/ordering session she designed and built an amazing closet for her doll (complete with colorful hangers!) – out of a shoe box!

We had to reschedule this session due to bad weather but in the end it worked out perfectly because the day we ended up having the photoshoot was the day they bought their new house!!!  And because their new house is literally right next door to the old house we took pictures in both!  It was the first time the girls saw their new house and it was so fun seeing and capturing their reactions as they were dancing in the dining room, running in the backyard and climbing into bathtubs:)

And we finished off this Bergen County family photo session with the kids enjoying popsicles – blue juice dripping down their chins and hands and all:)
