Best of 2011
It is time for my third annual ‘Best of the Year’ contest! I had lots of great sessions to choose from and at first ended up with 50 candidates for the contest. I finally was able to narrow them down to top 21, although it was almost as difficult as choosing favorites among my children: ) Now it is up to you to decide which image gets the title of the Image of the Year at Live Love Laugh Photos – and the grand prize that goes along with it:)
There will be THREE winners:
1) The Image with the most votes wins (to vote use the poll below). The winner will receive a 16×24 gallery wrapped canvas of the winning image or an image of their choice from a Signature Session in 2012. And as if that was not enough, the winner will also receive $100 print credit towards a Signature Session in 2012.
2) The Runner up will receive a $100 gift certificate to be used towards a Signature Session in 2012.
3) Please add comments along with your votes: to thank everyone for voting I will randomly select one of the comments and the submitter will receive a FREE spring mini session all inclusive package valued between $250 and $350! Mini sessions will take place in Bergen County and you can keep it for yourself or give it to friends or family in the area. So go ahead and submit a comment, I would love to hear from you!

There is nothing more beautiful then a mother with child in any form but this pic is one of the most amazing shots I’ve ever seen and something that this family will surely treasure forever!!

Wow, it was sooo tough to choose! I agonized for a long time between 3 or 4 different shots, eventually narrowing it down between image two and image five. I loved the human stonehenge look of image 5, but I finally went with First Heart to Heart, because that is such a rare, special, memorable moment. They are all beautiful photographs (I especially love your eye for settings and backgrounds) but this one is beautifully shot while really letting the people shine, capturing a perfect private moment that any mother would treasure. Gorgeous work!
My favorite picture is What’s up there?? That is the cutest baby I have every seen!!!

This was a difficult decision, but I decided to go with my gut and vote for the pic that grabbed me the most emotionally. Wish I had one of this quality to look back on.

I was torn between the ‘thoughtful’ photo and the ‘brand new’ photo. But for some reason I keep coming back to this ‘playtime’ photo. I love the expression on this Dad’s face taking in all of the joy and amazement and awe that is found when playing with his child. As a mother I enjoy seeing people’s love and attention toward children. Especially after experiencing something your child does for the first time. I feel like this picture really captured a natural moment in time that could be any parent’s moment. It makes me smile. 🙂 🙂
