Good bye Ridgewood – Last Ridgewood photo shoot before moving

I first met this family in 2012 when they hired me for their Ridgewood family photo session.  I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this girl every year since then.  I watched her change from a sweet little girl to a confident, funny and beautiful tween.  When you see a family year after year after year, you are bound to develop a relationship with them and after many years of photographing them, having lunches with the mom, talking about kids and schools and raising girls, I am lucky enough to call them friends.

This Ridgewood photo session was bittersweet for me because it is the last of its kind – these guys sold their beautiful house and moved to sunny Florida soon after this family photoshoot.  I photographed them in most of the rooms of the house because I wanted them to have something they could always go back to and look through and remember their Ridgewood home.

I am glad that they have beautiful wall art with these photos displayed in their house in Florida and that these photos will always remind them of their time in Ridgewood.  And I think that’s something you cannot put a price on, don’t you agree?
