A Taste of spring | Ridgewood children photographer

In the words of The Beatles “It’s been a long cold lonely winter” … well it has not been lonely but it sure was cold and long!  So when we had an unexpected, but definitely most welcomed, mini spring in the middle of February, we seized the moment and went for a much needed walk in the neighbourhood.  We did not even make it to the play ground at the end f the street – Mia and Alexa were SO happy just to be outside and spent close to an hour playing with the disappearing piles of snow and stumping in the puddles next to the house.   And then, just like that, next day it was back to the winter with the 30 degree weather and more snow:)

I cannot wait till the spring is finally here to stay!

These images are so Alexa! And of course, her favorite chipmunk  – Misha is here with her.  As well as her new favorite – the doggie bag.  She is such a pack rat – does not go anywhere with at least two of her favorite toys!

And while the girls were having fun I decided to take advantage of the beautiful sunset light and get a few images of them basking in the light – love how they came out!
