Photographing a party of five in Ridgewood

Like so many family sessions this year, we had to reschedule this Ridgewood family photoshoot a few times due to COVID. But eventually the stars (and schedules) aligned, we all felt safe and comfortable with my COVID protocols and we did it – third time was definitely the charm for this Ridgewood family!

For a location for this family photoshoot we chose their Ridgewood home – and I am glad we did – I always love capturing families in their homes (or OUTSIDE their homes, which is what I’ve done most this summer due to COVID). These boys may look familiar (we did Christmas photos together last year at my studio) but this was the first time I got to photograph the whole family.

I always that that babies and toddlers change so much in the first couple of years of their lives and you can definitely see how grown up and different the little brother looked. What I loved the most though, is to see how ADORED he was by his big brothers! We had fun hanging out on the porch, playing corn hole and swinging on swings. But the funnest activity (at least for the youngest member of the family) was walking on the street – as you can see from the look on his face:)
