Photographing a family of four in Franklin Lakes

Here is one of my returning families for your viewing pleasure. I’ve been photographing them since their first born was just a month old newborn and a few days ago he had his pre-school graduation!!! And his baby brother (due to COVID, we had to postpone his newborn session till he was a chubby 4 months old baby) – is the chubbiest cheekiest baby I’ve seen in recent memory!

It’s always such a treat seeing clients that I’ve know for a while – it may sound cliche but it really feels that I am photographing friends. I want to know what they are up to, how their parents are, see how much the kids have grown – all that good stuff!

And this family photo session was no exception – I really had such a wonderful time with them – exploring this awesome location in Franklin Lakes (this mom has a special talent for discovering the coolest photoshoot locations!), capturing the kids having a blast at a playground and then finishing the photoshoot at their grandparents house, like we do every year, and getting photos with the grandparents. And I can’t wait to see them again for their next session – it truly is such a privilege to watch families grow and to capture their journey!
