And year and another ‘stay-cation’ gone by. I love last couple of weeks of the year: I love how laid back it is, I love being at home with Victor and the girls, I love day-time dates we do and all the movies we catch up on, I love family gatherings and quiet evenings at home. The only thing I don’t love about it is how fast it goes:) We did a lot and nothing at all. We
saw beautiful skylines:
and admired stunning sunsets:
We decorated ginger-bread houses:
and wrote letters to Santa:
We made cream puffs with orange cream and chocolate coffee ganache and chocolate milk for Santa – we figured he would welcome a change from sugar cookies and regular milk:
and played with our gifts from Santa:
We were THRILLED to have family over for Christmas, including the girls cousins who they had not seen since the summer:
We took a mini vacation to Philadelphia:
and cheered for our Independence:
we introduced the girls to the yumminess that is Philly Cheese Steak:
We followed our New Year Eve’s tradition with a trip to Build-A-Bear Workshop, where the girls built their own My Little Pony:
and we spent New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day with family:
Hope your holidays were great and that it is not too
