I’ve been so busy photographing, editing and blogging family and children sessions that I neglected my own family pictures for a bit. So to remedy that here is another quick installment of a glimpse into my family life – I present to you ‘Weekend in life of the Antaramians!’ I love long weekends; weekends when we don’t have any grandiose plans and just hang out as a family and my favorites. This Memorial Day weekend we did just that.

It started with an impromptu reading session (by the girls) in our bed – they came over with their books and read ‘The Paperbag Princess’, ‘Polar Bear, Polar Bear’ and a few other favorites:

Then (still in their nightgowns as you can see) they realized that our upstairs hallway was the perfect spot for their picnic – when I suggested that they move their picnic to their own room they replied that this was the perfect spot and they had it have it right there. Who am I to disagree about a perfect picnic spot?:)

We went to check out ‘Field Station: Dinosaurs’ – a brand new dinosaur park that opened over Memorial Day weekend – so much fun for both kids and adults alike!

Alexa, even though she loves dinosaurs and sometimes insists on being called ‘Dino Dan’ – after her favorite TV show character – a boy obsessed with dinosaurs, was a bit afraid of life-size dinos. And in case you are wondering, that’s the reason why most of my images in the park are of Mia: )
