PJs, Pancakes and Ice Cream Sundaes | New Jersey children photographer

Being a New Jersey children and family photographer, I am known in Ridgewood and throughout Bergen County for my lifestyle family portraits, which I absolutely love to create for my clients.  Long ago when I chose to specialize in children and family portraiture I decided not to cover weddings and other events. However a few weeks ago I got an email from someone who found me online and loved the authenticity of my work.  This family was moving cross country and their 5 year old was heartbroken about leaving all her great friends behind.  So her parents decided to through her  PJ make-your-own-pancakes/ice-cream sundaes party at Englewood’s Le Gourmet Factory.  I could just picture beautiful images of adorable kids in their PJs making pancakes so I decided to cover this party.

It was even more adorable than I imaged!  Le Gourmet Factory (where I’ve never been before) is an absolutely stunning place – they offer kids AND adults classes!  I am already thinking about trying to convince my girls to have their next birthday party there.  AND trying to figure out when Victor and I can take cooking classes there as well:)  But I digress…

The kids were so sweet and had so much fun having their faces painted, decorating their own chef’s hats, making frittatas, pancakes AND ice cream sundaes!   And seeing K. say good-bye to her friends, made me so emotional and teary eyed!

When K.’s Mom saw these images she told me that they were exactly what she was looking for and that she was really moved by them.  In my book that’s considered a very successful photo session:)  And she told me that K. already made a new friend in their new home, which made me very happy!
