Family fun in Hoboken | bergen county photographer

Due to covid and quarantine and moving we had to reschedule this session a few times.  But it was all worth it because when we finally did this Hoboken family session, the stars aligned and it was pure magic!  The mom originally told me that she wanted photos of just the kids and the dog.  But you know me and how much I  LOVE family photography (family photos ARE IMPORTANT and your kids will want to see you in pictures with them!) so I insisted that she and her husband make an appearance in these pictures – even if it was just for part of the photoshoot.

The mom was great and took my professional advice so the day of the photoshoot the sky was clear, all five of them (little fluffy Bruno is a big part of the family) were ready for the session and it went without a hitch! The D ad was a trooper, the kids had a blast, Bruno was one of the most well behaved dogs I’ve ever seen and the Mom looked stunning with her movie star hair.

I  want the kids to have fun at their sessions and always recommend that we incorporate their favorite activities in the photoshoot.  These two love their scooters so of course I  suggested that they bring scooters to the shoot.  Let me tell you – these scooters were a big hit – they loved zooming around the streets of Hoboken and by the waterfront on them – I can still hear their giggles!

And my favorite part of the photoshoot was what came after – the Mom told me how much they all enjoyed the photoshoot and the photos and told me how happy she was that I insisted that they do pictures as a family.  After all – who would not want photos like these of their family?!
