Happy Days of summer at Indian Trail Country Club

I love every type of photo session I offer  – be it maternity, newborn, baby or children photo shoots.  But there is something about family sessions that make them stand out from the rest – they have always been and still are my true love:)  I feel so privileged that I get to capture moments for families, contribute to their ‘family memory banks’ and produce images that ‘freeze’ time for a little bit, images that parents and children can go back to year after year and relive days when their children were little kids and wanted nothing more than hold hands with Mommy and Daddy and give them hugs.

Before I went on my vacation I met a family of four at Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes for their family session.  I’ve had family sessions at this club before and absolutely love shooting there – it is so peaceful and once you step inside you feel like you are in a different world.  It is hard to believe that it is only 30 miles from the hustle and bustle of New York City!

The boys were absolutely adorable!  The older one is the same age as Mia and Alexa and is one of the sweetest children I met – he was such a ham, posing for me and running between me and his Mom giving us hugs!  And the little guy – at first he was not so sure about me and my camera but as soon as his Mom took his shirt off – he became the happiest little man!  All he needed, apparently, was to run around half naked:)

This Mom looks absolutely STUNNING – it is hard to believe that women who have two kids can look like that in real life!   They are such a photogenic family as you can see from the images below.

I can imagine parents looking at the photographs years from now and reliving this wonderful day filled with love, hugs and laughter.   They loved the images so much that they ordered all of them as well as an album, which will be such a great keepsake that I know will be treasured for generations!
