Halloween fun

I am pretty good at capturing ‘still’ images of kids… even when parents tell me before hand that they have very active toddlers who rarely stand still for more than a second I manage to get at least a few images where kids look at me and stand still.  The only exception to this so far has been my own kids – I find it simply impossible to get anything but action shots of them.  They are always on the go, running to do bigger and better things and never have time for their Mommy and her camera;)  So for now I have to settle for the action shots of the girls.  And even though it would be nice if I had a few images of Mia and Alexa looking at me and NOT running for a change, I also love and treasure these images because they capture what the girls are at this age – super busy, super active toddlers:)

And without further ado, here are a few ‘action’ shots from the ‘Halloween week’ – Mia and Alexa were very excited about Halloween and wore their customes the whole week leading up to Halloween.  We definitely got our money’s worth on these customes!

The day of Halloween the temperature dropped and it was too cold for the girls to be without their coats.  I was a bit disapionted at first because you could not see their customes at all (and Mia even refused to wear the little band that came with her bee outfit).  But that did not stop them and Mia and Alexa had a blast, running from one house to another, telling Victor ‘Daddy, we NEED a lot more candy!’ and ‘Let’s go to another house’.  I am a bit subjective but I think they looked super cute in their coats and black patent leather shoes!   They did not waste any time and were unwrapping and eating candy as soon as they got it:)
