Getting all her ducks in a row

One of the goals I set for myself this year was to take more images of the girls.  And I am not talking about ‘let’s-dress-up-and-make-a-big-production-out-of-it’ portraits (although I should do more of that as well) but images that capture our every-day life – playing, drawing, reading – with messy hair, mismatched outfits (they insist on picking out their own clothing) and peanut butter smudges on their faces.

Here is a typical night-time scene at our house – the girls love to line up their ducks (they have quite a collection!) and throw them in the water one-by-one!
