Fun lifestyle summer photo session in Bergen County
This Bergen County family is always so fun to photograph! I’ve photographed them every year for over 9 years – ever since Big Sister M was still in her Mamma’s belly! And when you see a family every year for this many years you slowly cross the line between clients and friends – and whenever we do a session together it really feels like seeing old friends. Especially when the girls run up to me to give me hugs, ask me to stay over for dinner and give me hand-made cards thanking me for always taking such nice photos of them! Seriously – how can you even call this a job?!!
These guys are so laid back and easy going and their sessions are always so fun – they just flow. Want to run your bikes – sure! Want to blow bubbles – why not! Want to have some popsicles – definitely!
What made this Bergen County family photoshoot even more special (besides the fact that this was the first session I did without a mask – I asked these guys first of course and given that all of us are fully vaccinated they were more than OK with that!) was the fact that their grandfather, who was visiting from Alaska, was able to join in the fun! When the Mom first reached out and said that she wanted to time the session with her Dad’s visit I jumped on the idea and we made it happen – and I am so glad we did. When I was creating and editing these photos I KNEW that they would be treasured by these two girls for decades to come!
So whether your parents/grandparents live close by or far away – do them, yourself and most importantly – your kids – a favor and schedule an extended family photo session with them. I promise you won’t regret it!
