Family

I’ve ‘met’ Noa in a photo forum and when we met in person we hit it off right away.  We talked and talked and talked about everything – photography of course, juggling running a business and spending time with family, raising toddlers, etc.  By the end of our first dinner I felt like I’ve known her for ages and we parted with hugs and kisses.

Photographing Noa’s family was a great experience.  There is such a strong connection between her and her husband and so much love between all three of them.   And as an added bonus, Noa was able to admire beautiful late afternoon light and the sun flairs, knew what images I wanted to capture so I did not even need to explain to her what needed to be done – she understood me right away.  This was my first time photographing a fellow photographer and although I was a bit nervous about it at first, it turned out to be absolutely wonderful!

Noa, just like me, has a hard time photographing her own little girl.  But little Ms. A. was absolutely perfect at the session – alternating between running around,  being silly with her parents , standing still and being thoughtful – a dream to photograph.

My sneak peeks usually only have a few images from a session but I wanted to do something different this time around and share a lot more images.  Enjoy!

I think I became very popular with little Ms. A. when I got a bunch of balloons from my car – they are always such a hit with kids:

Sparks were in the air when I was photographing Noa and her husband – the connection between these two is unmistakable!   This image just screams ‘love’ and ‘happiness’ to me:

I think I won Ms. A over when I took out my secret weapon – a lollipop!    The look on her face when she saw it was absolutely priceless – as you can see from the images below:

I was photographing Noa and her husband but little A. did not want to be left out so she decided to join in on the fun:
