Welcome to the world Little Girl | Ridgewood newborn photography

Have you heard my exciting news?!!  I just became an aunt for the third time!!!  My sister had a beautiful baby girl two weeks ago!  I was with her in the delivery room when each of her older daughters were born but then they moved to Georgia and I was not able to witness this little beauty enter the world – although I was definitely there in spirit!

Of course I had to fly down to Atlanta as soon as possible to get my hands on this latest addition to our family.  And of course when you are a photographer and your sister has a baby, you take pictures of her – that’s just what you do.  And take pictures I did – it was a newborn photoshoot that spanned a couple of days.  We got pictures of all three girls together, lifestyle newborn pictures, posted newborn images, family pictures, pictures with their dog – you name it, I’ve photographed that:)

Now that I am home I definitely welcome sleeping through the night without having to be up trying to sooth a crying baby.  But it was wonderful being a hands-on aunt to this little one, even if it was just for a few days.
