Bundle of Joy

A few weeks ago I photographed a little one who was just over two weeks old.  He was perfect and beautiful with his big eyes, perfectly shaped nose and cute lips.   I was told that he usually goes to sleep right after he eats but I think he was very excited about meeting me because he was wide awake and showed absolutely no desire to sleep!   I rarely see such alert newborns and I was so happy to capture these images with his parents.  As much as I adore cuddly newborn images I absolutely love tender moments between parents and their new bundles of joy.

Eventually with help of his Grandma (or a ‘baby-wisper’ as I call her) little K. fell asleep and I was able to capture typical newborn images.  I could not get over how adorable he was and kept gushing over him to his parents and grandparents.  How adorable  is he – look at these lips, perfect fingers and little skin folds!

His parents ordered this image as a 24×36 inch canvas, which was just delivered and it looks AWESOME!   It is now gracing my office and I will be kind of sad to see it ‘leave’ when I deliver the order:)
