Three Generational Portraits at Ridgewood photography studio

So excited to share images from one of Celebrating Motherhood sessions that took place at my Ridgewood photo studio a few days ago.  The event was a smashing success  – all ladies looked extra beautiful thanks to help of a great makeup artists, there was music and delicious freshly basked goods from a local french bakery, there was great light (both natural and artificial) and there were lots of loving moms, daughters and grandmothers!

This session so special – I’ve been photographing this girl since she was 3 years old – and over the years we’ve captured hundreds of images of her with her Mom and one of her Grandmas.  But this time around we were lucky because her other grandma, who does not live in New Jersey, was visiting and we got to capture them all!  I told G. that when she is older she will surely appreciate how lucky she was to have both loving grandmothers with her at the photoshoot – and she, being wise beyond her year, told me that she did appreciate it!

For this session I wanted to do something different from what I usually do and in addition to capturing lifestyle portraits I wanted to get classic and traditional portraits – and I believe I succeeded if I may say so myself:)
