Beautiful

I loved being pregnant…. I loved watching my belly grown to enormous proportions, feeling the girls move and kick at all hours of the night, listening to Victor singing to them.   I wanted to be able to remember exactly what I looked like and even though Victor took many many photographs of me while I was pregnant (with a mandatory weekly shot so that we could see changes from week to week), I decided to let a professional photographer capture me for prosperity.  I am so glad I did that – the images from that session are now proudly displayed on a wall in the girls room and even now when I look at them it I am transported back to 2.5 years ago when they were literally a part of me.

Now that my sister is pregnant with her second one (another girl – yay!) I was determined to give her the type of images I got from my photographer.  Doesn’t she look beautiful?
