At home Ridgewood photography session with long time clients

I love having my Ridgewood photography studio and all family and children photo sessions I do there.  But my first ‘love’ is on-location lifestyle photography, which is what I’ve been known for in New Jersey for over 6 years!  There is something very special about photographing children and their parents at their homes, where they feel the most well, at home!

Whenever I have clients come back to me year after year, I always do try to capture at least one image similar to what we’ve done in the past – it is always amazing to see how much the kids have grown.  But I make sure that each sessions is very different from prior ones – so that my families don’t have the same sets of pictures taken every year.

This is my forth session with this family – we’ve done a park session, a studio session and a combo of a downtown Ridgewood/home session.  So this year we decided to do the whole session at their beautiful home and it was AWESOME – not that I had any doubts:)  I loved photographing beautiful G. in her playroom – surrounded by all the toys she loves, reading her favorite books and playing with her puppy.   This girl is seriously amazing to photograph – she is silly and funny but also very mature and wise beyond her years and I absolutely ADORE her!

We got a very nice combination of lifestyle images and beautiful portraits; beautiful smiles and genuine emotions.   I love how the images came out but what’s even more important – her parents are thrilled with them! 🙂
