A few days in Paris

As you may know, our family LOVES to ravel and we travel quite a bit and have been to many places and done a bunch of cool things. One of our favorite all time things was doing a safari in South Africa – that we did over 20 years ago – pre kids. So when I was thining about our summer trip (last family trip before the kids head off to college) the choice was clear – we would do a safari! We chose Tanzania for a number of reasons and since there are no direct flights to Tanzania we decided to fly through Qatar and spend a few days there – since our kids have not been to the Emirates. But then the middle east situation became unstable and spending tie in Qatar did not seem like a good idea so we had to pivot. Many hours of looking at changing our tickets, researching alternative routs, etc and we decided to fly through Paris. And since we were flying through Paris we decided to spend a few days and what a lovely ‘bonus’ trip it turned out to me!

Since we’ve all been to Paris before we did not feel like we had to hit all the traditional tourists sights – instead we found off the beaten path places, meandered all over the city, had really good food, relaxed and had a great time! We even managed to squeeze in a photoshoot!
